The Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) is made up of medical students who wish to increase awareness of and interest in family medicine among at the Alpert Medical School at Brown University. More specifically, the FMIG aims to: * Educate medical students about the diversity of medical activities conducted by family physicians. * Provide extracurricular educational opportunities about some of these activities to medical students. * Raise awareness among medical students about key issues related to primary health care at the local, national, and global levels.
