The Sexual Health Education and Empowerment Council (a.k.a SHEEC) is a student-run council for the promotion of sexual health and wellness on Brown's campus. It was created during the academic year 2008/2009 as a way to facilitate communication and cooperation among sexuality groups at Brown, as well as a way to bring in more programming centered on sexual health, pleasure, and empowerment to Brown students. Currently, its's most well-known for organizing Sex Week @ Brown.
