                              11TH ANNUAL MEETING
                        OF THE SPANISH ASSOCIATION FOR
                          NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING
                               20 - 23 September

Topics of Interest: Original papers are solicited in all areas of
natural language processing and language engineering including, but not
limited to:  interpreting and generating spoken and written language;
multilanguage systems; machine translation and translation aids;
lexicons; corpus development; document management; natural language
interfaces and dialogue systems; multimedia systems; language teaching
aids.
 
Papers that focus on standards are especially welcome: standardisation
of terminography, lexicography, large grammars, corpora, documentation,
translation aids, hypertext, and general tools and software.
 
Working Languages: Spanish and English.
 
Submission of papers:
 
Authors should submit, by 27 March 1995, 4 hard copies of the
full-length paper (min 9, max 15 pages) including name, address,
a 5-line abstract, and key words.
 
Papers sent by fax will not be accepted.

Authors will be notified of acceptance by 24 April 1995.
 
Full-length versions of accepted papers must be received by 8 May 1995.
 
Authors with an accepted paper should register by 30 June 1995 for their
paper to be published in the Proceedings.
 
Demonstrations
 
There will be facilities for demonstrations of research and development
software. Anyone wishing to present a demo should send a one-page copy
description and a specification of the systems requirements by 8 May
1995 to:

Tutorials
 
On the first day of the Conference there will be a number of tutorials
offered, with the following proposed topics:
 
          *    Introduction to SGML
          *    Multilingualism and Language Engineering: Problems and
               Solutions
          *    Any other topic
 
Persons interested in giving a tutorial should send a description of

Product Exhibition
 
During the Conference there will be an area for the exhibition of
natural language oriented commercial products, such as: Documentation
Managers, Word Processors and Desktop Publishers, Terminology Data
Bases, Electronic Dictionaries, Machine Translation and Machine Aided
Translation, Speech Synthesis and Recognition, Multimedia. Exhibitors
