This three-day hands-on workshop provides an introduction to the theory
and practice of markup languages, with special emphasis on using
Extensible Markup Language (XML) for humanities-based research. It is

encoding in XML with particular emphasis on the Text Encoding Initiative

Days II and III are ideal for individuals who wish to gain more in-depth
knowledge of both XML and text encoding.
