I'm trying to TEIficate as a variorum a printed text with two
mostly-identical editions.  But the (author's) preface has substantial
revision, in particular including paragraphs that exist in only
the second edition.  But <app><wit> has to be _inside_ a paragraph
(or line of verse, etc.).  Help!
