I have seen talk about Schemas as if they are the next DTD-like
thing. However, I read in the XML specs: "Definition: An XML document
is valid if it has an associated document type declaration and if the
document complies with the constraints expressed in it."
So it would seem to me that you always need at least a DTD to be able
to produce valid XML (if you so desire).
Are there tools to generate a DTD from a Schema?
