I don't know about anyone else, but I am getting stir-crazy with not
being able to ride in. It's too early for spring fever, but I am feeling
it! It feels warm. We have more light. The streets are clear, but bike
lanes (not to mention the EBBP) are still totally covered. Hopefully it
will rain hard tonight and wash most of it away!

Subject: [BIKE-TO-BROWN] Free maintenance/repair classes at Providence
Bicycle
Hi, folks! I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and the prospects of
(slight) warming ahead. Looking ahead to Spring (it must be right around
the
corner by now right?), you might be wanting to pick up some bike
maintenance
or repair skills. Providence Bicycle is offering some free one-night
classes
in February and March, and you are all of course welcome to participate.
They have an experienced and friendly staff, and I expect these sessions
would be a great way to brush up on your grease monkey kung fu.
From the ProvBike website:
Learn emergency roadside repairs and basic bicycle maintenance!
Classes will be given every Tuesday evening from Feb. to March,
starting on Feb 8. Classes will start at 7pm and run until 8:30.
Each session will be limited to 8 participants, so book your space
today! Each week we will provide the same experience.
Call Providence Bicycle at 401-331-6610 or email
[log in to unmask] to reserve a spot.
