Fear not, list-members, I for one am planning to say no more on that
particular matter.

Doesn't stop me thinking along the lines I've already explained on earlier
occasions, though; and if type ever does become a default global my personal
estimate of the long-term usefulness of TEI markup will fall quite
drastically.
