We had another great turnout for the Boulevard sortie. The quick group had
a dozen and a half riders including me. Now if I was with the quicker
group, who was leading the beginner’s group??? Nobody.

We did not have any beginners show up, much to my disappointment. I was
especially disappointed because I showed up on my commuting bike and had to
do 25 miles at 18mph with fat tyres and mudguards. I am knackered this
morning.

I encourage all riders to come out and try the paceline. Don’t wait until
you are more fit. The group will only get faster too. Come out now and
improve with the gang. I will be expecting a noob group next week.
