Hi, folks. I just got this bulletin from my contact at RIDOT:

PLEASE NOTE: THE EXISTING WASHINGTON BRIDGE (EASTBOUND) SIDEWALK
CONNECTING EAST PROVIDENCE/WARREN AVE. & GANO ST./INDIA POINT PARK IS
CLOSING ON MAY 21ST AS PART OF THE ON-GOING I-195 WASHINGTON BRIDGE
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.
 
HENDERSON BRIDGE WILL BE THE ALTERNATE ROUTE PENDING THE FUTURE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE GEORGE REDMAN LINEAR PARK.

Notice the conspicuous absence of the date it is expected to re-open via
the new linear park. I'll see if I can get a rough guess out of him on
that.

If any of you have any questions about how to navigate to or from the
Henderson Bridge instead, let me know.
