I can understand that! I tried to use Word 2007 to edit a table and
could not even determine how to add rows to the table. All sorts of
color and other style type information was available but not adding rows.
I realize that the markup of ODF lacks the sophistication of TEI,
probably better than most people in the ODF project. It seems reasonable
to me to use the accumulated insight of TEI to make that markup better
and hopefully result in a better markup format with quite wide
commercial (as well as free) application support.
Hope you can avoid _Word_ in the coming week!
