Sorry, I can't make any sense of this. Are you suggesting that in the
phrase
Oxford (51° 45', 1° 15')
the parenthetical is part of the name of your home city?
If so, it's like saying because people often want to list birth and
death dates in parens after someone's name that they are part of the
name. They may be useful for disambiguation, but they are not part of
the name.
