handle temporal deixis these days?
I've always thought it would be nice to be able to say
===snip===
<rs type="time" when="1916-12-02">Yesterday,</rs> I composed the most
important piece of my life.

and have been guilty in the past of abusing <date> (<date
when="1916-12-02">yesterday</date>) to get at those.
We can already express the spatial equivalent using a combination of
@type and @key, as in
===snip===
He's driving to the <rs type="place" key="LHR">airport</rs>.
