Dear MS-SIG,
The annual meeting and conference of the TEI is fast approaching. This
time, it will be held in Zadar, Croatia, 8-13 November. We have prepared
and organized a couple of events drawn from the SIG activities of the
past year:
- A pre-conference workshop on the forthcoming module on Genetic
Encoding (10 Nov);
- A session with three papers on manuscript-related topics (11 Nov);
- And an informal SIG working meeting (12 Nov).
There are some more presentations that promise to be interesting for
manuscript studies; the full programme can be found here:
http://ling.unizd.hr/~tei2010/program/index.en.html.
We look forward to hopefully seeing many of you in Zadar. For the
working meeting on Friday morning, we propose the following agenda:
a) Review of the SIG's work of the past year
b) Evaluation and discussion of the SIG's survey on needs and
requirements of the community
c) Work plan for 2011
d) Critical Apparatus: review of the work in progress
e) AOB
We know that this is of short notice and we are perfectly aware that
there are people around who would like to contribute to the meeting but
could not come to Zadar. Thus, we would like to encourage you to propose
topics to be discussed or any opinion to any of the topics stated above
via the list.
All the best,
Elena and Malte
