OK, I understand now what caused this.  However there still seems to be yet 
another problem, as the number of this illustration in the PDF file is 
(correctly) "11.1"; whereas for now apparent reason it is  "Figure 2", 
although as far as I can tell there is no Figure 1 on that web page.  This 
is what confused me, since Figure 11.2 does not seem to fit to the context 
of this reference.
