By P3, do you meant the DTD called TEI2? I'm still a little confused
about that.
I am using the TEI DTDs with PSGML, and they work perfectly as written
(no changes necessary) -- I simply dumped all of the files into a
single directory and made certain that PSGML knew about it. On my
25MHZ 386SX, they take an awfully long time to parse (a couple of
minutes), but once you save the preparsed DTD file, it takes only
seconds to reload. All of the tricky IGNORE and INCLUDE parameter
entities which I have tested work as documented. With SGMLS, I did
have to fiddle with the SGML declaration a bit (PSGML does not use it
-- it presupposes the reference concrete syntax and unlimited
capacities).
I will warn that loading and saving preparsed DTDs did not work
properly with Oemacs (the DOS Emacs 19.19) when I last checked, but
the problem is probably very minor (ie CRLF translation).
