Dear sgml people!
The last time, I got a lot of stuff concerning SGML on to my desk.
So I read the introduction to SGML: "Guidelines for Electronic Text
Encoding and Interchange", the introduction chapter out from the TEI P3
series that I got using the command GET TEIP3 PACKAGE.
Of course, I'm not yet through with all 500 pages.
As far as I already learned from reading the contents of the overall
TEI P3 document, there are no references concerning actual existing
software, I only found the sentence: The need for software to
handle TEI SGML is becoming more pressing.
Is there somebody in the outside world, who may give me some
further information concerning (TEI) SGML software, especially:
What kind of word processor is on the market that allows easy
TEI coding?
What kind of TEI SGML parser are available that translate SGML
into other well know formats (TEX, rich text, ASCII, Word etc.)
May everybody who believes the question is very stupid excuse
my stupidity and thanks in advance all those people that have
some advice for me.
