I'm posting the following message in the hope that someone out there may
be able to offer some advice or assistance. I am a library and
information science graduate student who has recently been hired by the
Canadian Poetry Press, a small publisher at the University of Western
Ontario, to translate existing FrameMaker documents into SGML files.
 
We plan on using the FrameMaker +SGML software package to convert these
documents into SGML files which comply with the TEI's DTD. Our long term
goal is to develop a searchable database of SGML files which will
eventually be mounted on the Web. It appears that our first problem will
be getting FrameMaker +SGML to interpret the TEI DTD correctly and
translate it into a corresponding EDD.
 
Does anyone have any suggestions on how this may be accomplished or
suggestions regarding whom I should contact for further advice?
