Reports from people testing teixlite continue to come in at a good
pace; I have just put version 1.3 up on the server. This corrects an
error I made in the teixml.ent extensions file (I suppressed the
elements att, gi, tag, and val) or perhaps in the teixml.dtd
extensions file (I did not provide alternate declarations for them).
The main known remaining problem is the references to the ISO Latin 1
and Latin2, ISOnum, and ISOpub entity sets. I've suppressed these for
now, since the ISO entity sets are not legal in XML (they use the
SDATA keyword) and I have not yet got my hands on a good XML-ized
version of the entity sets. One looked promising, but proved to have
errors; I have leads on a couple more, but have not retrieved and
tested them yet.
(Two secondary problems remain, for people with very very long
TEI.extensions.ent files and for people with extensions files which
include both entities of the form <!ENTITY foo 'INCLUDE' > and
<!ENTITY foo 'IGNORE' > for the same entity name 'foo'. Neither of
these is that hard to fix, but they appear not to be urgent.)
Many thanks to Fotis Jannidis, Jean-Daniel Fekete, Syd Bauman, Greg
Murphy, Sebastian Rahtz, and Lou Burnard for their help in finding
and fixing the problems.
Keep those bug reports coming in! And, for that matter, reports of
the form 'Seems to be working now' would be very welcome, should they
be true.
