Dear TEI-L,
 
Is there a preferred strategy for tagging SGML within TEI? I'm using TEI
(not TEILITE) to prepare the documentation for a TEI project and I need
to include both in-line SGML snippets (the names of tags, attributes,
attribute values, etc.) and blocks of SGML-tagged text. I've been using
<TERM> for the in-line snippets and <P> for the blocks, but I find
myself wondering whether this is the best treatment.
