I've been working on SOW5 and have so far an extraordinarily messy
draft, which, given that no one will have time to look at it before
10:30EST, I won't send at present. Suffice it to say that I think this
will be pretty easy to write up and to provide additional TEI examples
for, since TEI provides most of the required mechanisms and as a
generic format (i.e., one that wisely does not give tags for linguistic
elements), is easily mappable to any abstract data model for
annotations. We need to say something about linking pre-defined
annotations (maybe even--dare I mention--RDF encoded ones?) to data and
other annotations. I have inserted examples of various
things--including parallel data examples grabbed off the XCES web site.

Talk to you all shortly.
