  <description>I second the recommendations for School of Seven Bells and The National.  Another new-ish band that School of Seven Bells reminds me of is Crystal Castles.   And I can&apos;t think of any other current bands with such nice male vocals as The National.  Very much like Joy Division with the &quot;heavier&quot; male vocals.   I&apos;m trying hard to get into newer music and discover new bands, but mainly I can&apos;t wait to hear and see clips of Sioux when she does the Meltdown show this summer!
