Dear list members,

thanks for the quick responses and helpful hints! I think that it is
good to provide a possibility for "documentary" transcriptions with
<sourceDoc> as an alternative to more interpretive one. But there are
a lot of graduations between be a "mere topographical" and a  
interpretive transcription. The <mod> element itself seems to indicate  
this. So it might be useful to allow as much combinations of this two  
approaches and their elements. That's why Georg Vogelers proposal  
seems quite plausible to me.
