We are currently reviewing our protocols for peds trauma patients.
Anyone have good articles/resources regarding giving whole blood or PRBCs earlier to peds trauma patients at high risk for hemorrhagic shock?
(Jumping straight to blood instead of the usual two 20cc/kg bolus of crystalloid first)
Similarly, any good articles/resources on giving TXA in high risk peds trauma patients?
Thanks in advance-
