OK, I found it but am getting memory errors. I tried to find the
settings file you mention in the documentation but no luck yet. Running
the ProTeXt release from the latest CD.
BTW, in the meantime, decided to look at what different version of Saxon
had to say:
6.5.5: "Cannot process a result tree fragment as a node-set under XSLT
1.0 Transformation failed: Run-time errors were reported"
This occurs at line 51 of /tei-xsl-5.2.9/p4/fo/linking.xsl.
Saxon-B 8.6.1 processes the file (resulting in the FO file that has
"issues" with xmltex) but complains:
Warning: Running an XSLT 1.0 stylesheet with an XSLT 2.0 processor.
I realize you run this all the time but apparently our local setups vary
in some regard that is the source of the non-formatting related issues.
I went through the test files to see if I could discover where that
difference might be.
If you look at test/exercise.xml, you use a graphic and the <figure>
element reads (in part):
<figure file="fezziPic"> (the default extension is .png so that works
for this image)
Which is an attribute that I don't find in P4.
I changed the first offending instance in my file to read:
and the fo processes until it hits the next image.
Note my specifying the .gif extension on the file name overrides the
default setting in xmltex.
Sigh, but the image still doesn't appear in the rendered output.
So, one more piece of the puzzle to isolate before I can start tweaking
It is picking up the TeX commands for scaling of the image fezziPic but
I can't see any where in the exercise files in /test where that is
I grepped for fezziPic but did not pick up anything outside of
exercise.fo and exercise.xml.
Is there some default scaling for images?
After I get the images to display I guess I should look at why I don't
have a TOC. ;-)
Appreciate all the help! About to break for snack and will return to it
Hope it has been a good day!
