Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts regarding a questions asked by one of
the pediatric residents:
A three year old had LET placed on his forehead laceration for thirty minutes. When
the resident tried to suture the wound the child appeared to have inadequate
anesthesia. The resident being aware of the limit in the dose of lidocaine wondered
whether an adjustment in the dose of injected lidocaine is necessary.
