Stillman left IALA in late 1942 or early 1943 to work for the
State Department in the War Effort.  Gode took the helm from
then to 1946 or so when Martinet was brought in.  Then in 1949,
I believe, Gode was called back to finish the job.

So, I don't think Stillman was able to write poetry in Interlingua.
In these days "
