I'd suggest embedding the SVG in the TEI in its own
namespace, and validate it using a schema. There is
an example of how to do it at http://www.tei-c.org/Schema/....
But I also think SVG is maybe too low-level. It describes
vectors, not concepts which could be represented as vectors.
