Waiting for the Manuscript transcription and description SIG to manifest
its presence on the list, I have another manuscript related question:
how do you deal with an initial letter which is really an image, parts
of which are interspersed with the text on the ms page? (imagine
vegetal-like branches which go through several lines of text) Do you
just mark it as a decorated letter, noting the approximate space it
takes, or is it better to mark all the points where words are separated
by part of it?
Thanks in advance.
