I sent the below announcement out to the Buddhist Studies list
(H-Buddhism) a few days ago. Although it is probable that neither the
document itself, nor its HTML presentation will be of special interest
to people on this list, in the "Digital Editor's Preface" to the work,
I describe in some detail the process of the digitization of this catalogue
(formerly in book form), including my usage of TEI, along with some
acknowledgment of those on this list from whom I received help.
The source XML document is not attached to this page, but anyone who
is interested in seeing it is of course quite welcome.

> We are happy to announce the release of the digitized Web version of the
> book _The Korean Buddhist Canon_: A Descriptive Catalogue_, by Lewis
> Lancaster. As researchers of the East Asian versions of the Buddhist
> canon are well aware, Prof. Lancaster's groundbreaking work has served
> as an invaluable resource in book form for a generation of scholars.
> With the aid of a JSPS grant, we have recently completed ditigization
> and web implementation of this text, which magically turns into the
> perfect web resource.
