<>I wasn't in Baltimore so I want to discuss some questions about the
future of MASTER and descriptions of manuscripts. As you can see from my
signature I work in the National Library of the Czech Republic. We
present all our digitized manuscripts in the Manuscriptorium system
(http://www.manuscriptorium.com). In this system we use the "MASTER+"
DTD (http://digit.nkp.cz/MMSB/1.0/msnkaip.dtd) to bind the material
presented in the database. This contains the technical description and
the page level to every manuscript which has a description in the MASTER
I have some questions:
1. Will it be so that the MASTER DTD will be "dissolved" in the P5 TEI
DTD? 2. What will be the main changes? 3. Will be here a "recommended"
DTD for manuscript descriptions or should everyone put together its own?
4. Is this http://www.tei-c.org.uk/Activities/MS/FASC-ms.pdf the draft
for manuscript description elements in P5? 5. Could be something/all
from MASTER+ put in the new complex DTD?
