I should have mentioned (although it will be obvious), that there is
also a sample "humanities paper" included on the same site, which uses
TEI with my own style sheet. My style sheets are certainly not the
best example in the world, but the part of the code that was written
(and meticulously documented) by Michael Beddow to generate numbered
footnotes, is extremely edifying for the purpose of understanding how
to take practical advantage of XSLT iteration.
