I work on encoding of an edition of Old Polish (XIV - XV century) texts. Two
1 .There are superfluous passages, which are deleted *by the editor*, for
purely philological reasons, that is they do not make any sense in this
particular context. The guidelines tell us to encode it: <corr sic="bla bla
bla"></corr> where bla bla bla is suprfluus according to the editor, but not
deleted by the scribe. In this case the deleted text is an argument of a
attribute. Still, the editor wants to correct obvious mistakes (eg. an
omitted letter) in this superfluous passage. What to do in such a situation?
2. I encode a text which is preserved in one manuscript, however some pages
fall out of it and were found separately. In the book edition fragments
contained by these separate pages are marked eg. _here starts the page found
by Jan Kowalski_. Maybe I wasn't reading the P4 carefully enough, but I
could not find any advice for such a case.
