List members may be interested in a new AHDS Case Study on the Newton Project.
The project, based at Imperial College London, is transcribing and digitising
Isaac Newton's theological manuscripts.
The concepts in the case study will be pretty familiar to old TEI hands but the
article serves as a good example of how XML can be incorporated and exploited
within a digitisation project. For potential readers who are less sure about the
benefits of the TEI, it presents a good argument for taking time to employ a
rich mark-up scheme.
