Oh did you miss the comments about cleaning the bike before asking
people/shops to work on the bike? "cause that is the one time i
really encourage people to clean them, clean them just before an
experienced someone can check all the bits to make sure they are
properly lubed, so you don't wind up with an oxidized gritty noisey
it might have been burried deep in an email... but don't take my word
for it - ask someone who logs heavy duty miles commuting everyday in
all weather :-D
besides - where is the fun in working on a bike if your hands don't
turn black when you are finished
