Gautier Poupeau rised a question I intended to ask in my previous mail
too - and finally considered it best to split the questions in single
mails. So here is the second question:
I'm enclined to use <text> for each charter in the collection as most of
you suggest. But ...
In miscellanous collections it would be very convenient to distinguish
text types in the collection (e.g. a theological tractatus, some
liturgical texts, homilies etc. in one medieval manuscript). Am I right
that the text classification structures of TEI are nested into the
teiHeader, so you can't use them inside <text>? That would support
Gautier's proposal for adding the type-attribute to <text>. As it looks
so simple, I would support his proposal too!
All the best
