PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY MEDICINE
ASSISTANT, ASSOCIATE, and/or FULL PROFESSORS - ACADEMIC CLINICIAN AND/ OR CLINICIAN-EDUCATOR
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seek candidates for several Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track.
We are seeking candidates to provide care in an Emergency Department that has an annual volume of 85,000 visits, and participate in clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Division of Emergency Medicine. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - TENURE
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in Clinical Care, Education, and Research. Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
The candidate sought will have extensive research experience concerned with pediatric trauma, with particular emphasis on evaluating the comparative effectiveness of regionalized systems for pediatric emergency care. Applicants should have demonstrated productivity in high impact journals and a funding track record with a goal toward independence.
