In the context of a seminar with some students at the Humboldt University, we are working on the edition of a manuscript (a diary), for which we also have several (3) typed (on a typewriter) versions, since the author had the idea to have the thing published. I would like to have one single TEI document to compile the various versions and would like to record when portions of texts are coming from one source or another.
- We do have this nice @ed attribute, but which only works for milestone
- We could generalize (abuse?) @hand to record the origin of the text from one source or another (considering a reference edition (the manuscript), and treating everything else as add's and del's from it
- We could also apply @ed to other elements (span's, p's, etc.) to trace the source.
Anyone with some experience/hint on this?
