The Emory Children's Center is currently seeking board certified/eligible
Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians to join our growing academic
practice consisting of 23 Pediatric Emergency physicians, 12 urgent care
physicians and 5 allied health professionals.
The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine provides emergency and urgent
care services at two Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's emergency
departments: at Egleston and at Hughes Spalding. †These EDís see a
collective volume of over 100,000 patients/year.
Both campuses are teaching facilities for the Emory and Morehouse Schools
of Medicine (students, residents, and fellows) and support a thriving PEM
fellowship program that takes 3 new fellows a year.
Our scope of services range from penetrating trauma and tertiary/
quaternary clinical care to fast track services, managed by our urgent
care physicians and allied health professionals. Both ED's are newly
renovated and state-of-the-art.
For those interested, research opportunities abound through collaborations
and close ties with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Emory, Center
for Disease Control, Rollins School of Public Health, and the Georgia
Institute of Technology. In addition we have a full time research
coordinator and ED-based research assistants to help with study enrollment.
