Another arbitrary certification????How many are there now?BLS, NALS, PALS, PBTLS,ATLS, ACLS, ABLS( Burn), Medical COntrol, I am sure there are others... Now Stroke Certified?Whats next URI certfication? Plus emrency departments are now vying for recognition as specializing in some disorder..We already have centers for excellence in SPine innjuries, Stroke, Cardiac Emergencies. IS there to be more specialized centers as well? Where does this end? At some point ( probably at the very outset) merit badges/certifications like this become silly and insulting to Emergency Physicians.
