I agree completely. I'm convinced that the both the state and local
governments could make a big dent in their deficits by simply
enforcing traffic laws.
I remember reading a few years ago that before the completion of I-95
along the Eastern Seaboard, some small southern towns were notorious
for zealously enforcing speed limits. The residents benefited from low
> I WISH, WISH, WISH… they would just enforce the laws in general ;) Having grown up in a state where it snowed a lot, I drove differently in the Winter than other months, expecting a car to side through a red light. I drive that way ALL THE TIME here in RI. The blatant violations of motoring laws is widespread… cars and bicycles. I'd love to see automated speed ticketing mechanisms, heck might be a way to pay for this crumbling infrastructure of ours.
