Curious what people "really do" in their practice worlds regarding prescribing these medication despite the not so new recommendations to abandon their use.
Clearly, they are still being used in many private/community settings, yet tend to not get used in the academic settings.
Parents come in to the ED because their children have cough and congestion and this affects everyone's sleep.
Would like to hear back what you do and what age groups you use them in and what practice setting you are in.
Thanks in advance.
