The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine of the Department of
Pediatrics at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York is recruiting one full-
time Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians for July 1, 2013.
Interested individuals should be board eligible/certified in PEM or board certified
in General Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine. The Department of
Pediatrics is a dynamic department with many clinical and academic
opportunities for creative, energetic individuals.
The PED currently cares for 27,000 patients annually in an appropriately sized, modern facility.
We recently expanded our attending coverage hours and added mid-level practitioner coverage.
Division members supervise and teach Pediatric, Emergency Medicine and Family Practice
residents and medical students from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and
other institutions. Night, weekend and holiday shifts are shared equally by all
Department members are eligible for academic appointments at Albert Einstein
College of Medicine (AECOM) of Yeshiva University with access to all AECOM
faculty development programs.
Participation in research, teaching and administrative activities is available and
