I tried this method when I was helping Nick with that area. we gave up on it partly because you can't suggest a filename. and something else
since we had to make calls to OxGarage only, it seemed easier to just go with that for everything

its not my job to work on this code, and its not supported by Oxford University, so I wanted
to make it clear that I am not asking for testers, or promising any help. Of course in practice
I'll very happily discuss the code with anyone, and make changes if its something small
that interests me.
I should point out to everyone else that Brett has already pulled over the code,
made some useful cleanups, and that is now fed back into my version. which is
just great, that is how I want to see this develop.
