The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center/Boston University School of Medicine is seeking additional Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians. We are currently a Division of 10 faculty and six fellows. Our pediatric emergency medicine fellowship is ACGME accredited and has been in existence since 1988.
The Boston Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department is a Level 2 trauma center that cares for 29,000 patients per year. In addition to our fellowship program, we are integrated with and responsible for resident education of our core residency programs in Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. We have an excellent pediatric emergency department nursing staff.
Faculty will be expected to enter an academic track within the Boston University School of Medicine and pursue work in clinical care, education, administration and/or research. Academic rank and salary will be offered commensurate with experience and achievement. We are looking for energetic faculty members who want to engage with trainees, develop programs, and add to the academic environment.
Interested individuals should be sub-board eligible/or certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or in both Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine, and interested in pursing an academic career in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
