I think that concept is different. att.source (@source) records the
source of a quotation, either reproduced in writing <quote> and <q>) or
revealed in written form during a transcribed speech (<writing>). If we
put @source on <msItem>, I think it would mean "the source from which
the bibliographical information has been taken", in other words some
other manuscript description in another document, rather than the MS itself.
