16th Management of Humanitarian Emergencies: Focus on Children, Women and Families
A Course in Disaster Preparedness

This intensive interactive course examines the key problems and priorities in disaster situations as they relate to the most vulnerable victims of disasters. By providing a solid mix of didactic lectures and problem-based learning exercises targeted at a variety of skill levels you will learn to effectively address the complex medical, psychosocial and public health challenges facing children, women and families affected by humanitarian emergencies.
This course is designed for pediatricians, primary care providers, NGO relief professionals and mental health professionals interested in such training. Continuing education credits provided by the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Ohio Psychological Association.
