frankly, I have very limited ideas how to proceed with this in a generic way. The simplest thing I can do
is process the components in the order they come, whether it be sourceDoc, then text, or the
other way around.

I have put your test file at http://tei.oucs.ox.ac.uk/test32.html according to my current code,
but its fairly simplistic. Obviously neither yours nor Matthew's align the text with the facsimile
line by line, so there is a limit to the fancyness one can add.
