The New York University School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine has launched an innovative, funded fellowship dedicated to Emergency Medicine Safety and Quality.
This one-year program aims to train physicians in the administrative and academic aspects of medical quality, patient safety, and practice innovation, in order to prepare them for leadership roles in education, patient care, and quality assurance. We endeavor to promote the next generation of emergency medicine clinical safety and quality leaders as effective agents for change. Our fellowship provides access to the world-class educational and clinical aspects of NYU Medical Center. Additional support has been secured to support the information technology needs of this fellowship. Qualified applicants may be eligible to pursue additional training in a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (Concentration in Comparative Effectiveness) Program or a Certificate in Comparative Effectiveness Research.
