Was curious if anyone has formal departmental policies/procedures or clinical guidelines for dealing with agitated or combative patients. We are looking for more of a general approach document incorporating de-escalation, use of physical and chemical restraints, and resource mobilization--rather than specific restraint policies. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
